[edit] some of my buses?

Does anyone know how to excerpt the "Hey, Strong Bad you jumped over some of my buses?" sound from this movie? I'chiliad not sure what software I need to exercise this ... just I'd similar to utilize the "some of my buses" quote in some techno I'm trying to put together. It also might be a good quote to put on the wiki. -- NERD42 email talk h²g² pedia uncyc 03:57, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Try asking KieferSkunk. He's the i that uploads the OGGs of debated lines every time nosotros need 'em. I bet he could exercise this easy. --DorianGray

This footling exchange makes me wonder if virus could be referencing the fact that TBC reads this wiki... hmm. Danny Lilithborne 13:39, 24 Nov 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Millionaire?

I always thought they said, "The Crook is the winner!", non "The Cheat is a millionaire!" It's pretty difficult to tell, though. Any thoughts?

It's 'millionaire', I'one thousand sure of it. Too many syllables for it to exist 'winner'. --Upsilon

[edit] Headless homestar?

Why isn't there any mention of the headless homestar dancing at the very end of the flash file on this page? →evin290 thirteen:15, 8 Mar 2005 (MST)

I guess no ane noticed it before. Congraturation! --Venusy

Yeah, I just tried adding it, simply I tin can't come up with a practiced wording for it. Get for it. -- Tom fourteen:25, viii Mar 2005 (MST)
I have a copy of the SWF file saved on my difficult bulldoze dated 22 June 2004 and it does not have the headless homestar flake mentioned higher up. What this ways is that Mike or Matt must have added that later 22 June 2004, more than 8 months after its initial xiii Oct 2003 release. Hither'southward the SWF file I had saved in 2004. How odd that they would go back and add such an unusual thing!—THE PAPER PREEEOW 07:33, five Jul 2005 (UTC)

[edit] glitches

Just so you know, those glitches were deliberate to brand fun of poor flash animation, every bit does the whole cartoon

I'thou certain some of them were, but probably not every single one. And sign your posts please. talk Bubsty edits 01:56, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "night-time" or "squeamish time"

Is Stiff Bad's last phrase "See you later night-fourth dimension" (equally in the transcript) or "Encounter y'all later squeamish time?" I hear the latter. Is information technology just me? --Jamby 01:56, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

Nope, it'due south not only you - I hear "nice time" as well --Eric 02:29, 28 May 2005 (UTC)

Well, I'ma modify I put the volume upward total blast (which is very loud) and I am positive he said nice fourth dimension.

I've always believed information technology to be "nice fourth dimension" or fifty-fifty "nice times". -- tomstiff 05:08, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I hear night. Retromaniac

[edit] 4th Wall Break?

Doesn't Stiff Bad "intermission the quaternary wall" by talking to the viewer? And even if not, isn't he breaking it past proverb he'south "non gonna do 1 this calendar week"? I call back it is most definitely a Fourth Wall Pause. --SBEmail22 10:29, 14 Jun 2005 (EST)

This i's a close call, merely I think it's as valid as some of the other items on that page. Why don't you start a word on the talk page there, or if you truly believe information technology should go along the page, just be bold and add information technology. — It'south dot com 16:34, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
The Quaternary Wall Breaks page specifically says at the top that Strong Bad addressing the viewer is excluded from the folio, because it happens and then oft and considering the very fact that Strong Bad answers viewer emails indicates that he knows he has an audience. Aurora the Homestar Coder 16:45, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I retrieve this one's a little more of a greyness area because Strong Bad addresses us like he can see u.s.. Then, when The Cheat makes his Flash toon, his parody extends all the way from "loading..." to the "preeow" of the printer. Meh, merely I don't really feel strongly one fashion or the other. — Information technology's dot com eighteen:31, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Okay, I can meet that Strong Bad addressing the viewer would exist excluded. But nevertheless, the fact that Strong Bad said that he wasn't going to do one makes me recollect of a fourth wall break. If there were something like the electronic mail "anything" in which Strong Bad wasn't available and Homestar (or another character) filled in for him and answered an email, I would exist a bit more than skeptical nearly it. Simply the fact that Strong Bad himself directly addresses that he refuses to respond a viewer's email has to be something. I also agree with what It's Dot Com said; if Strong Bad saying that he wasn't doing one isn't a fourth wall suspension, and so the fact that The Crook made a Stiff Bad email complete with a loading screen and The Paper coming down could very well be a break besides. --SBEmail22 12:58, 14 Jun 2005 (EST)

[edit] It all started with The Crook one 24-hour interval...

A theory of mine that I wanted to run by everyone: Near the end, Strong Bad claims his secret to be "The CHEAT!" Cue parade. This may seem like just more self-praise by The Crook, but I wonder if, in the context, this may be a reference to SBEmail 50, where Strong Bad himself seems to attribute his awesomeness to The Cheat. I'm not certain about information technology, but it seems plausible. Thoughts? - Taster's Choice

I don't think it's a reference. I think you were right when you said information technology's just The Cheat's in-drawing cocky-praise. — It'south dot com eighteen:24, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Now, I'm not in loftier school, merely isn't that a mutual thing at proms? Has Matt? (talk) 12:49, fifteen April 2006 (UTC)
These "Your confront hither" pictures are very mutual. They've been used hundreds of times everywhere. I even remember reading a Simpsons comic which included 1 of them. At the stop of the day, it's a TTATOT. – T he C hort xiv:31, 15 Apr 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Here I Go Once more On My Own

Is Stiff Bad'due south line "Here I go again on my own" a reference to Here I Go Again by Whitesnake? Retromaniac 19:54, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

I was just thinking the aforementioned matter! Should it be put into trivia or anything? Falanalanel 23:41, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] PBTC

Information technology is a pretty consequent standard current hither that PBTC goofs and inconsistencies are not noted, as they are indicative of The Cheat's manner. Therefore, I suggest removing the Remarks relevant to the PBTC section. -Qermaq - (T/C)Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 04:18, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Some of them:
  • When you click on the floppy when Potent Bad is finishing the cartwheel, it says "Nitemare iii-D"
  • Strong Bad'south estimator says 'Compa' as opposed to 'Compy 386'.
  • The way "cheat" is spelled on the "Dunkin' the Ch8t" float is an example of Leetspeak and would actually be pronounced 'chate'.
are yet worth noting somewhere. The residuum can become IMO. — D east f e n d eastward r i 0 3 i * T a l chiliad 04:20, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't run across whatever reason to remove them. They have existed quite nicely on the page for over two years. They're interesting and don't take up besides much space. Yes, information technology's accepted that it's The Cheat'southward style, just do we ever enumerate what that mode is? In other words, if nosotros remove them, won't we be removing good information that isn't listed anywhere else? — It's dot com 17:50, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Can't we put most of that info on the transcript? --Trogga twenty:27, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
We could, merely would it fit there, or would it pause up the flow? — It's dot com 00:44, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Balloon theme? Nope.

Okay, lemme set the record straight. While I can agree to the fireworks sound being similar to the Bullet Bill cannons, the music playing during the The Cheat parade is Not the airship theme. Here's proof. OK? OK.but, a buttdance Neox ONION BUBS! YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!! 13:51, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Is the PBTC part of this affair a sbemail or Powered Past The Cheat toon?

Information technology has a computer that is named a similar proper noun to compy, and it is the same concept as a Strong Bad electronic mail. Information technology also has a URL that is the same style as a sbemail, it is in the e-mail menu and it is on a strongbad_email.exe DVD and non an Everything Else DVD. --Fangoriously 18:48, one Feb 2009 (UTC)

It's a sbemail. I don't think anyone has always questioned that. — D east f e n d east r one 0 3 1 * T a l 1000 19:06, one February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] One on One

At the begining of the movie with real Strongbad, "One on Ane" is writen on a diskette.

That's already mentioned here, but it looks similar our good friend User:DorianGray took care of that piece of trivia for usa in the commodity itself. D East N N I S T / C 21:20, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit] How far?

How long is nineteen buses? It might be crazy long! — Missile1234 (Talk | contribs) 16:58, 18 January 2021 (UTC) (left unsigned)

A quick search gave a figure of near 8 anxiety per schoolhouse bus, so 19 buses would exist about 152 feet (46 meters). These are approximations, of course. Talk pages are for questions or suggestions about the wiki commodity, non forum discussions. 5.2.69.5 18:39, eighteen January 2021 (UTC)
